THINGS TO DO

2021 – The year of the staycation!

What better time to ‘’adventure’’ around Scotland. With so much to see and do, let the luxurious Happy Haggis Campers make your trip one you’ll never forget. Whether it be the North Coast 500, the North East 250, Island hopping around the North & West Coasts, Nessie Hunting in the Highlands, visiting one of our many great distilleries or golf courses, or simply touring around taking in the breathtaking scenery Scotland has to offer all year round, there is no doubt that Bonny Scotland is only place to holiday this year.

The North Coast 500

The North Coast 500 is one of Scotland’s most iconic coastal tours with a global audience of over 2.3 billion. Starting and ending at Inverness, the NC500 will take you through some of Scotland’s famous towns and cities, offer awe inspiring views of mountains, and inspire you to learn more of Scottish history by visiting monuments and castles along the way.

The North East 250

The North East 250 explores Scotland’s east coast, taking you on a journey through the Cairngorms National Park, local distilleries, as well as travelling through some of Scotland’s largest towns. The NE250 offers a wide variety of nature trails, arts and culture, heritage sites and traditional Scottish eateries.

Visit Historic Castles

Scotland and the Highlands offer some of the most beautiful scenery surrounding its castles, each one built by historic clans of the past, and each one offering insights into Scottish history. Some of the most popular castles in Scotland include Dunrobin Castle, Urquart Castle, Inverness Castle and Eilean Donan Castle, which can be seen here.

Local Distilleries

It isn’t a trip around Scotland without a visit to a local distillery and there are definitely plenty to choose from. Scotland hosts some of the world’s most famous Whisky distilleries including Highland Park, Lagavulin, Blair Athol and Laphroaig.
